Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Absolutely amazing experience at Buddha Ruksa in West Seattle. The crispy chicken was outstanding perfectly cooked with incredible flavor and texture. We also had the green beans and the Khao Soy which were both incredible and full of rich authentic flavor. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. To finish it off we had the fried banana for dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service matched the quality of the food. This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to in Seattle. Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back. 🔥

Had very high hopes for this place. It was a complete disappointment, worst Thai place we’ve ever been to. Not even exaggerating. The pad see ew had overcooked, broken and mushy noodles. The flavor was bland and flat, no usual Thai-style fiery wok flavor they should have. The crispy garlic chicken (meant to be their most popular dish) was extremely dry and flavor just tasted like burnt chicken.

THE PANANG CRISPY DUCK. All I have to say is this place is bomb. It should be 5 stars to me. The atmosphere, the service, the food. You couldn’t ask for a better place.
