Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Delicious 😋 A delicious way to start your morning! We came the day after Christmas for breakfast/brunch with my family, and it was such a great choice. Everything we ordered—from the coffee to the food—was amazing (yes, even the coffee itself!). We ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. My mom had the wet burrito with asada, and it was packed with flavor in every bite. My sister ordered the chilaquiles, which were extremely good—the sauce had a nice kick, and the bits of meat added even more flavor. My brother-in-law got the ribeye and eggs; the steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. My boyfriend and I both ordered the fajita omelet, and we were not disappointed at all—the tri-tip was amazing, and the O’Brien potatoes were a perfect side. After our meals, we shared pancakes, and they were soooo good—super buttery and just made everything even better. Overall, the food was great. Our waitress was kind and helpful with everything we needed. We did have to send the food back once because it was a little cold, but that’s understandable, especially since she was likely trying to bring everything out at the same time. Definitely a great, cozy place to come with family and friends. We’ll for sure be back!

We came here several days in a row for breakfast and can verify that the food and service are excellent! If you’re staying in one of the hotels nearby, this is probably the most solid breakfast place you can walk to within a 25-minute walking radius. The California omelette with a side of fruit and wheat toast was a standout dish. The beef fajita omelette with hashbrowns and a side of pancakes was another. Even if you arrive very hungry, the portions are large enough that you’ll almost certainly leave satisfied. And, the quality of the food is very good, especially for the price. The hot cafe latte was just a little bit sweet, impaired perfectly with the savory dishes that we ordered. Each time we visited, the food was ready in less than 10 minutes in the staff were excellent about checking in to see if we needed anything. They also proactively offered sauces and accompaniments. I’d highly recommend Cafe Amri for breakfast!
