Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Came with a large party. Service was perfect, great frequency and very accommodating. Manager Jorge was extremely friendly and checked in to make sure we were taken care of. Every dish was delicious and fresh! A great experience

We had such a lovely time at Café Lucci! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the food was amazing. Our server, Juan, was so kind and attentive—he really made us feel taken care of. The sweetest part was when the manager overheard it was my husband’s birthday and surprised him with a dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the night feel extra special. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs) and can’t wait to come back!

Finally tried Cafe Lucci in Glenview and wow… this place is such a gem. They even have a full vegetarian menu, which is so rare, and everything we ordered was really good. We had the burrata, beet salad, cacio e pepe, cavatelli vodka sauce, eggplant parm, spaghetti, plus sticky toffee pudding and tiramisu for dessert. The pasta and eggplant parm were standouts but honestly everything hit. Service was amazing and the whole vibe was super welcoming. Definitely one of my new favorite Italian spots in the suburbs, can’t wait to go back.
