Cafe Red has won over reviewers with its delicious and generous portions of plant-based eats. The pesto breakfast sandwich on a gluten-free english muffin is a standout, as is the peanut butter cookie. Reviewers also praise the cafe's good gluten-free options, making it a welcoming spot for those with dietary needs. While Cafe Red has its fans, some reviewers have noted that prices can be steep, with a 16oz coffee and extra shots coming in at $11.50 before tip. Additionally, it's worth noting that the cafe's hours and availability of certain items may vary, so it's a good idea to check ahead of time.

I happened upon this spot when looking for a quick vegan meal on my way out of the city. This place is fantastic! I had the most incredible pesto breakfast sandwich on the best gluten free english muffin i have ever tasted. Also had tots and a fantastic peanut butter cookie. So tasty!! and good gluten free options for those in need. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return.

Tried for the first time today. Was hoping they still had the pea protein milk but they don’t, nbd. I got a 16oz b&w with almond milk and the almond milk is really good!! I also got 2 extra shots. It was $11.50 before tip which is definitely too steep for me to visit again. But I appreciate what they’re going for.

I really like Cafe Red. It’s a cozy cafe off of the Othello light rail station. My former work ordered breakfast sandwiches and I love the food. I honestly did not know it was vegan and the sausage patty was made in house. I ended up returning same day to get lunch there and a coffee. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I love the artist/community vibe and it reminds me of Chaco canyons cousin. There aren’t too many vegan places in Seattle. I used to frequent many of them from The Globe, to Araya’s, and various juice bars before they became tense and fizzled out. What I love about Cafe Red is that they make delicious food. There isn’t any trendiness. 5 stars for food, served and atmosphere.
