We've always loved Cafe Yumm, but we live in Utah, so whenever we visit Oregon we buy a couple jugs of yumm sauce and yumm salsa to tie us over until our next trip. We got home to Utah after keeping them in an ice filled cooler the whole drive home, opened our brand new yumm salsa jar, and there was mold on top!! We couldn't believe it and we're so sad and so disappointed. It's expiration date isn't until 6/6/26, and there is mold in it. And unfortunately for us we can't just run back to cafe yumm and get a new one. Normally I would give cafe yumm 5 stars always, but this really was shocking and unacceptable.

The food is consistently fresh and tasty from location to location. The motivation of employees vary from location to location. I noticed an absence of urgency in service while I was waiting for my order. At one point, my order was bagged and ready to go while the cashier and a cook were chatting between the past. Once they were finished with their conversation. I was finally given my order. I was the only customer in the building.

Cafe Yumm is a good place for a relatively healthy quick meal. They have a limited selection, but what they serve is delicious. I've only gotten bowls, and they have been quite good.
