Candlelight Inn Restaurant

We drove over on a Tuesday evening, from Davenport, for their all-you-can-eat chicken tenders. The first plate was piled so high I didn’t even get another plate. In fact, I had to take some home with me. The food is delicious, the waiter very friendly, and the view was breathtaking. The only negative is that we don’t live closer because we would be regulars. But we will still be back!!

Really good food overall. The cheese curds and boom boom shrimp were excellent, and the salmon was very good. The only odd moment was when we asked about the restaurant’s famous “Chicken George” and our waitress said she couldn’t explain what it was. It ended up being essentially a chicken strip. Still a great meal and I’d come back.

6-10-25 Great! Came to Clinton to explore the area. Stopped for a bite. Definitely worth the stop! 4 of us ate and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Amazing views of the river Plenty of outdoor seating Service was great! Will definitely stop back by on our way through this area.
