Canyon House Kitchen & Cocktails is one of those places you walk into expecting “pretty good” and end up thinking, wow… this is something special. My wife and I absolutely love this spot. It’s classy and upscale without ever feeling pretentious — the kind of place that surprises you in the best way. The food is consistently fantastic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Whether you’re going for a full dinner or just small plates with cocktails, everything feels intentional and well‑crafted. The bar program is equally impressive, with a great selection and cocktails that actually taste as good as they look. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and just elevated enough to make the night feel like an occasion. Recently I discovered this wonderful (and somewhat mysterious) restaurant. It's part of an affluent residential community just north of Castle Rock and has the ambiance of a private club. We dined on the open air back deck and enjoyed a crispy brussels starter, savory wild mushroom pizza and a chilled glass of Chardonnay. Our server, A.J. was knowledgeable and friendly. Given the quality of the food and service, we'll be back soon to sample more of the menu.

We've been to Canyon House a few times. Their Host and Management are lovely people, always seat us promptly, servers (Kaia looking at you!) are kind, knowledgeable and provide excellent recommendations. The food is fantastic, highly recommend their twice cooked wings, and the short rib ossa buco. Love their cockfails. My winter favorite has been the sweater weather! Five stars!
