My son and I recently moved here from southern Arizona, where we frequently ate Indian food at various restaurants. Today we tried Cardamom for the first time. What an exceptional experience! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! The food was so good I almost forgot to take pictures. The pictures show the amount on my plate and not the serving size (about 4 times what you see). One serving of naan is 4 pieces. There are 2 samosas in a single order and 6 pieces of paneer in the paneer pakora appetizer. We ordered vegetable samosas, paneer pakora, chili garlic naan, palak paneer, and matter paneer. There are so many options (including vegetarian and vegan) from which to choose. In addition, the portions are large, so sharing and sampling all dishes is easy and recommended. Like all Indian restaurants I’ve been to, spiciness is optional. We got mild this time but will try medium on our next visit. This is going to be our number one treat restaurant from now on. It is about $25 per person, but well worth it in my opinion.

My first impression was that this was a nicely converted former Pizza Hut. The food was decent but lacked the intensity of most Indian food. The shahi paneer had little, if any, tomato and tasted more like a korma. The aloo ghobi tasted OK, but some of the potatoes were practically raw. Spent most of the evening regretting this choice.

Hands down the best Indian food we’ve ever had!!! We’ve been there 6 times and always try out new appetizers every time we go! Everything is always so delicious! My favorite entree dish is the butter chicken! I hope this place stays for a long time and don’t change up their recipes because they’re amazing the way they are now!
