If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean flavor in the Lowcountry, **Caribbean Delight** is an absolute must-visit. Since moving to South Carolina, this is hands down one of the best Caribbean restaurants I’ve experienced. From the moment you walk in, the aroma alone tells you you’re in for something special. The **curry goat** was tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned — full of bold island spices that soaked beautifully into the rice and peas. The **jerk chicken** had that classic smoky heat with just the right kick, balanced and flavorful without overpowering the dish. Now let’s talk about the **oxtails** — deeply savory, fall-off-the-bone tender, and packed with flavor. While they had a little more fat than I personally prefer, the taste absolutely delivered. The gravy alone over rice and peas? Incredible. The sides did not disappoint either. The **collards and cabbage** were seasoned just right, cooked to perfection, and tasted like they were made with love. And you definitely can’t forget the **plantains** — sweet, caramelized, and the perfect finishing touch to the meal. Overall, Caribbean Delight brings authentic flavor, generous portions, and true island comfort to Moncks Corner. If you’re craving real Caribbean cuisine, this spot is worth every bite. Always so good! They have very nice workers and always good music playing! Their food is amazing always hits and never misses. :) I’ve gone in there one night and they had a dj in there and again amazing music!!! Jerk chicken is delicious and so is the ackee and oxtail! Rice and peas with oxtail gravy is the best and the plantains are always amazing too.

Usually when I come food is good but this day was out of rice nd peas .4th time coming I travel a hr to get here and food not to my liking..curry was too salty oxtail dried nd no flavor ...I dnt think I'll be coming back guess back to finding a new spot...ughhh
