Super super good! We passed through Gary to head to the Dunes and this place did NOT disappoint. I got the Dominican Chicken dinner and the chicken was so so flavorful and warm. My mother got the Jerk Chicken Bowl with plantains and it was amazing as well. They also have super sweet and savory cornbread. I would definitely recommend this place!

I stopped in to pick up the Oxtail Dinner on the NYE menu. I was worried they would be sold out, but lucky me. They are very tender and full of flavor. The gravy isn’t heavy and the Sweet Plantains were delicious. I also had Arroz con Habichuelas as a side dish

The food was ok! A minor wait for my order (15-20 minutes). The seating area/lobby is small but cozy, and parking was available next door behind a different establishment but it works. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming. I ordered the pica pollo, small bbq tip, & jerk tips. The 🐔 could use a touch of seasoning, and the slaw missed the mark, but everything else was on point. I'll go back to try some other dishes that I haven't tried. 🫡 🇺🇲❤️🇩🇴 The parking situation and being out of sides I wanted took away from the 5⭐️, but all that means is the sides must be damm good! Lol
