Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I sat at the bar as I was by myself. Service was prompt. I got the complimentary chips and salsa. Nice crunchy chips and a pretty good salsa. They've got good hot sauces on the table. I ordered the Carne Asada tacos with floor tortillas and beans Mexicano style and a Negra Modelo. They put the beer in a frosty mug which was a bonus. Really tasty tacos and the beans were yummy. The service was also top notch - very friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. I really love it here. This is my new favorite local Mexican place.

Service was good but unfortunately food didn't quite make the mark. I ordered tacos de birria with consomé and they tasted odd, almost sweet. I would compare the taste to mole. My husband ordered the whole fried mojarra, taste was good just over fried. Overall an okay experience but I wouldn't say authentic. Wouldn't come back or recommend.

The food here is quite good. Some dishes bring me back to dining experiences in San Antonio, TX and Nogales, Mexico. The owners and staff are friendly and they don’t miss a beat with service.
