Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

CAVA was clean and spacious when I arrived around 11:30am. The food was fresh and flavorful, and I appreciated having options that worked well with my eating plan. I ordered a bowl with grilled chicken, vegetables, hummus, and a couple of sauces, and everything tasted great. As it got closer to 12:30, the line got a little longer, but there was still plenty of seating inside and outside. Customer service was okay, though the ordering process could have been explained a bit better. The drink station initially had no ice, but it was eventually refilled. Overall, a good experience and I would return.

I’ve been ordering from CAVA regularly for our business lunches and have generally had positive experiences, which is why today’s visit was especially frustrating. We placed our usual order, but when we opened the bags and began handing out meals, we realized that every kids meal was missing the pita bread that has always been included. On top of that, multiple coworkers specifically requested sauces on the side, and those instructions were ignored. I called the store to clarify and spoke with a manager, who informed me that CAVA kids meals no longer include pita bread. Not only has the price increased from $7.95 to $8.25, but the portion size has been reduced as well, significantly less food for a higher price. This was particularly disappointing because one coworker was trying CAVA for the first time, and I had confidently recommended it based on past experience, specifically mentioning the pita as part of the meal. That expectation was not met, and it made the situation uncomfortable and embarrassing. What’s most frustrating is the complete lack of transparency. There is no clear notice on the website or ordering platform stating that the pita has been removed from the kids meal. If a core component is eliminated, especially while prices are increasing, that should be clearly communicated to customers. To make matters worse, the manager I spoke with, Byron, was dismissive and rushed me off the phone, stating he was busy. That response only added to the frustration. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, not just because of the missing items, but due to the poor communication and lack of customer care. I expect better from a brand I’ve supported consistently.

I finally tried this place out after hearing all the hype about it. Briana and Jake were super friendly and helpful and made my experience great! It can be a little overwhelming for a newcomer because there are so many fresh options and combinations. I went with a curated chicken and rice bowl to simplify things. Fantastic. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. the hummus, Greek yogurt dressing, tomatoes and feta made an incredibly flavorful combination! The rice was a tad mushy for my taste, but perhaps thats how its supposed to be! Don't forget to try the pita chips, they are fantastic!
