My partner and I had heard a lot about this restaurant, so we decided to try it for dinner with some friends. The ambience was really nice and the overall vibe of the place was great. We started with sweet lassi and mango lassi, which were both quite good. For dinner we ordered chili chicken, samosa chaat, dal, and butter chicken with naan and roti. While the quantity of the food was generous, the flavor and overall quality didn’t quite meet our expectations. The lassi was definitely a highlight, but unfortunately the roti and naan didn’t seem freshly made. One of the best parts of the experience was the pani puri stall, which gave a nice authentic Indian street-food feel. Overall, it seems like an Indian restaurant, but the target audience may not necessarily be Indians—you can see that reflected in some of the reviews as well. That said, it’s still a good place to visit for starters, drinks, and a fun atmosphere.

The butter chicken was pretty good. I went with a friend who had a vegan dish, and we shared the samosas to start the whole meal was great. The food is super flavorful and has a nice kick to it, but it’s not so spicy that it’s overpowering. It feels like a perfect spot for someone who is just starting to try Indian food since everything is so well-balanced. The rice was cooked just right, the service was solid, and the place was actually clean and kept up well. If you're looking for a good meal that hits the spot without being too much, this is a great pick.

We had such a great experience at Chai Pani. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we tried was packed with flavor and tasted fresh. I really appreciated that there were plenty of options without it feeling overwhelming. It was the perfect balance of variety and quality, and everything on my plate was genuinely delightful. It’s the kind of place where you go back up “just to try one more thing” and somehow your plate is full again. It was very busy when we went, so be prepared for a wait. Parking was also a little tricky and took some patience. That said, once we were seated and started eating, it was completely worth it. The flavors, the selection, and the overall experience made up for the wait. If you don’t mind a crowd and a bit of a parking hunt, this spot is definitely worth checking out!
