Charm Thai Kitchen and Sushi Bar offers an awesome selection of meals. We tend to focus on the sushi now. I myself love fried tempura sushi, while my girlfriend prefers traditional sushi. We usually add a few other items to round things out, and we’ve tried multiple appetizers—each time, they’ve been phenomenal. I recently got the duck ramen, which was excellent. I feature pictures of most everything, probably from our last three visits, which have all been in the past two weeks. So obviously, we enjoy this place. They also decorate for Halloween, and it looks very cute up front. As someone who decorates as well, I love this. There are a few things they could fix, like the phone system—it’s very hard to hear when placing an order. Almost every time, we’ve had difficulty hearing whoever’s taking the call. That said, the staff are very kind on the phone and leave you with a “I’m getting this from the right place” type of feeling. As mentioned, the duck ramen was excellent. I probably wouldn’t get the miso soup again—it was clean but lacked flavor. That’s probably not their fault, but it’s not something I’d aim to order from a place like this. Tempura sushi? Out of this world. Probably some of the best I’ve ever had—and I’ve tried it from everywhere. The last time I tried to write this review, we ended up going back to eat there because it sounded so good. I’m getting kind of a weird feeling right now, so I don’t think we’ll go again today—but that’s how good this place is. Their aesthetics are very traditional: calm, nice, and inviting. It’s quiet and easy. The bar has a nice little setup with a few TVs. It looks like a perfect place to get a drink. I haven’t done that yet, but I will soon. Parking is fine. They have a little outside area that looks cute—we’ll probably try that soon. The only reason we haven’t eaten there more often is because we take our dog everywhere with us, and that’s special to us. So we often end up eating at home. But we do enjoy taking them to places like this, and this one is easy. If you live on Schillinger Road, you shouldn’t be missing this place. You should definitely go here. Luckily, we live across the street, which makes it even easier. I give it five out of five, ten out of ten, and two thumbs up. If you’ve got a hankering for some Thai food, THIS is the place to go. It’s called Charm because that what it does. It Charms you to go back again and again. The food hits every. single. time. The Tom Kah soup has got to be one of best I have ever had! The pineapple fried rice is cooked to perfection everytime. The gyozas are delicious and juicy. The vegetable spring rolls are fresh and flavoursome. Guys, this place is the real deal, and I’ve visited Thailand so I’ve got a little to compare it to😉. The staff are welcoming, respectful, and bubbly. I truly have no complaints. Charm guys!!

The chicken fried rice was mushy way over cooked with no flavor negative -5 stars. The soup was horrible a dirty flavor and it was suppose to have shrimp that consisted of a half piece the size of my small fingernail, the price was $8.95 for the soup negative -5 on the soup. The ginger chicken was a 2 star then we had the basil chicken what was a weird ground chicken without any basil to be found that was 0 stars! The side rice that came with was also mushy negative -5 stars. Way over priced for the quality the what was served. This was a to go order and that’s why I wasn’t able to tell you in person and is why I’m leaving this review.
