Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We visited this Thai restaurant today and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the quality was excellent. Service was attentive and efficient. We ordered a few starters along with a main course and Thai iced teas, and everything was flavorful and well prepared. A great overall experience. They also customise according to your spice tolerance and allergies. I would highly recommend this place!

loved the food. loved the atmosphere. loved the service. we got asked every 10 min or so if we were taken care of and that’s hard to come across these days in restaurants in my opinion. love the portion size since we were able to try 6 dishes without getting too full. loved the corn cake, papaya salad, kee mao (was a slight bit salty for my liking) and the mango sticky rice. i don’t recommend the oyster since it was just egg and oyster with sauce, but it wasn’t bad by any means, just not anything special. overall 9.5/10 experience! the server with the long bleached hair was full of smiles and made the experience even better!

Cha Yen Thai Cookery is phenomenal! I live in Rhode Island and have been several times, and each visit is amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful, open, and smells incredible—it feels warm, welcoming, and like home. The food is outstanding—fresh, high-quality ingredients in every dish. The fried rice, noodles, curry, and Wagyu burgers are all delicious. The service is attentive and friendly, and the bartenders make phenomenal drinks. I always have such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back!
