Tried this restaurant after my brother insisted that we should try it as my husband is Jamaican...thank God we did, since day one we felt in love with the food (have become regular customers), the service, and the plenty of options they offer, even for vegans. Chef rose is very professional when he takes your order, welcome you, comes to the front if the food is taking longer than expected to be ready and explains that he makes the food by order...this is a warning, expect a long wait time, so call in advance from when you expect to be hungry jijijiji...and during the weekend is a little longer...but the wait is worthy...the food is full of flavor and the size of the portions matches the price...One of my favorites restaurants!!!

I was feeling to eat some nice jerk chicken so I was recommended by my nail tech guy to check this restaurant out and boy I was so happy that I did. This is what I was expecting all the years I've been living here in South Florida. What Jamaican food should be tasting like it was fresh. It was hot. It was delicious and nicely wrapped up when I received my food. The jerk chicken was nice and flavorful. This is the best peas and rice I've ever had packed with flavor.All the rest of Jamaican restaurants I buy food from none of could compare to this food here . I give a tree star for the service because it took 30 minutes which I was okay with because everything is made fresh to order , but if I'm in a rush, I would place my order way ahead of time to get the food. So I don't mind waiting. But I'll just place the order way ahead of time for food like this. Yes, it's worth the wait. The restaurant inside is not too big. It's a little small area where you can eat. Also, inside is very clean, neat and organized. I love the layout of the menu that he has on the wall. I will be returning to try every dish on the menu. Thank you so much for your delicious food.

I knew this place was going to be great when I rolled up. We waited about an hour for takeout after we ordered but it was well worth it. Chef Rose even came to the window to tell us that he makes everything to order and that there might be a wait. Then, after he was finished he came to the window again to thank us for coming in. The food was totally on point especially the smokiness in the jerk chicken. The oxtails fell easily off the bone. The rice and peas and plantains were perfect. Jerk Machine has been our usual go-to because it's closest to where we stay when we visit Fort Lauderdale but I think we'll be making the trek back out Oakland Park next time for some more Cheffield's.
