Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We were here on a Sunday afternoon. There were some people, the tables are set at a good distance. Inside is quiet, all I could hear was the people preparing the food 😊 We were seated right away and they brought our drinks and the food came within minutes. We order the family meal, which should be enough for 3-4 people. I think if you’re really hungry 2 people can finish everything. Sweet pork plate. Meat was not tender enough, but enough to eat it. 👍🏼 It might have been me, but i didn’t feel the food was greasy or salty 🤌🏼 I don’t think rice is fried either👍🏼 My belly was happy 😆 Thank you!

This was our first time at Cheung Sheng and we enjoyed it. We shared egg rolls, pepper chicken (I think), broccoli with spicy garlic sauce, and veggie chow mein. The egg rolls were very crispy. The filling was different, the ingredients were pureed instead of minced. The chicken was tasty, although there was a lot of celery and no peppers. The spicy garlic sauce on the broccoli was the highlight. It was delicious! The chow mein noodles were fresh and soft. Portions were generous. We were excited to find a good, local Chinese restaurant downtown.

The chicken dish had barely any chicken and was only filled with celery, which the menu did not mention either. The pepper chicken was quite bland and didn't really match the description on the menu. The service was quite slow, and a teapot I ordered was never brought out. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
