as a Griffith resident, When I first moved here I had the honor to try this place (when the old owner was there) and I cant say it was my favorite or a place I thought about when I wanted take-out. BUT, I'm not going to lie. Ever since the change of management or owner, the food has most def improved. i have yet to dine in, but I do know that the staff is extremely busy and always very welcoming. in the times with are in now a days, that is extremely appreciated.

So I have been coming here since I was a child. We would eat there once a week when we lived in Griffith in 2005. That was the original owner. Sweetest lady knew everyone by name. Since they changed ownership it is horrible. I ordered the spare ribs “6” and 4 eggs to take to eat at work on night shift. When I opened up the ribs I am not exaggerating when I say there were only 2 ribs with any meat on them. I called and let them know(the cook definitely knew what he served. The lady that answered the phone said she would make it right as she had my name and number. That was 3 weeks ago. I called to place an order and get that fixed and she acted like she knew nothing as did her manager. We spend at least $100 every time we order “6 of us.” I will not be eating there ever again. Sad because that place was amazing when they had the other cook. I hear he is somewhere in Merrilville on 30.

Ordered online The food was packed extremely well. I ordered food with gravy, also ordered soup. Nothing spilled out or shifted in the bag. Not even a broken fortune cookie. Everyone was very polite and pleasant. My food was fantastic.
