I ordered the falafel teller and souffle. The salad which only had some parsley and lemon comes prepackaged and you have to wash it and prepare it yourself. This would be somewhat fine if this restaurant was open about it. But the hummus was also tasteless and the falafel seemed heated. What bothered me the most was the prepackaged cold souffle. I even asked them on the phone if they had cooked it priorly — they told me it got cold from the weather. This was a blatant lie as there was no steam to indicate it was hot before leaving their place. And food doesn’t get cold inside-out. So I discarded it with the salad. Overall, I find nothing healthy about risking a foodborne illness, being lied to and wasting 15€.

Each time I’m going to Germany I have to eat at least one time in a Cigkoftem. The food is so good here. It’s fresh and generous. I can’t get enough of it! Delivery was also super quick. And quite inexpensive.

Each time I visit Germany I have to go to the nearest Cigkoftem. This time I was staying in Saarbrücken for a night and took some to takeaway. We had a box of cig kofte with two wraps. It was very very generous for the price. The food was good too. It’s just like what I remember from my childhood.
