Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

There are a few Sip Saam Thai locations. We gave this one a try. Hawaiian theme and all. Our food was good. Mine had a few cold spots where it may not have been stirred well enough during cooking. But again, it was good. The bench seating is hard. No cushions. Lemongrass has cushions (finally) on its benches, fyi. The Service is excellent. Not so busy on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm. Another thing was the music choices. I was expecting maybe Thailand or Hawaii themed relaxing music to get into the Vibe of the menu. Nope. Country music and it just didn’t match the ambience. So if you like eating Thai food, on a hard bench, with Country music playing. Come here. But with my back, I will stick with lemongrass and the padded cushions on the benches. Your call.

Everything was very good: fried calamari, chicken bbq, chicken katsu, thai iced tea. Good portions, great friendly service and good atmosphere. Recommended!

Stopped in for lunch on a weekend. Service was impeccable. Cute little dining hall and very clean. Happy hour apps - we got the calamari which was still $9 but was a hugely generous portion. The yellow curry was delicious and again, giant (see glasses for scale) portion with much more chicken than most. The Drunken noodle was much milder in flavor than we would’ve liked but decent. This portion was small but loaded with protein. The passion fruit (unsweet) tea was tasty. They will adjust spice for each dish. Will definitely be back.
