Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The food is good and prices are reasonable but the staff acts like they don’t care about their customer service. They often get my order wrong. This last time I specifically told them I wanted nothing on top of my chilaquiles, no toppings, no sour cream no cheese , I told her this twice over the phone and they still poured a great amount of sour cream, cheese and onion on top. When I called them they told me most people don’t ask for the chilaquiles like that and assumed I only meant no lettuce or tomato despite my instructions for my order …. She didn’t offer to refund me nor to make me another order. I am allergic to dairy and don’t like throwing food away the way this was handled was unprofessional and basically said it’s my fault.

Maybe I was hungry when I walked in making me feel a smidge more critical. However, it's just an OK spot. The Service was good, they were attentive and super pleasant. I greatly appreciated the comfortable atmosphere they created. I was really craving some blueberry pancakes, but had to settled with their pancake stack with blueberry topping as an add on. It very clearly came from a can and the upcharge seemed a little excessive. The pancakes are not bad but they're not great either. I was a little surprised at the lack of breakfast meat included with the meals. In attempt to satiate my inner child I ordered chocolate milk (too much coffee already this morning). It was a powered mix, with a very unidentifiable flavor, I was not in favor and honestly would've preferred Nesquik even at that price, at nearly $4 the quantity and quality left me wanting. All in all, it's not a terrible spot but it definitely leaves you overall unsatisfied.

Ordered for pick up. Got banana pancakes and they put rotten banana slices on my pancakes and no syrup was included in the condiments. Also there was a hair in my pancakes. It honestly looked like a long beard hair. 🤢 Close to half of the soup spilled in the bag. When we got home the lid wasn’t on all the way. The chicken soup tasted good and homemade. Hash browns were dry and cheese was lacking in the omelette. They also forgot the Mariana sauce for my mozzarella sticks. I really wanted to like this place because of their homemade chicken soup, but the rotten bananas is what got me. Bananas are so cheap, you really couldn’t use a banana that didn’t look black and brown when sliced into? I can’t believe that no one in the kitchen saw the rotten bananas and not question it.
