Owensboro, Kentucky has a champion here. My only regret is that I can not give 10 stars. Lena our server was excellent. She was very attentive to our needs and timed our meal perfectly with the appetizer so they all do not come out simultaneously. She made pefect menu recommendations. When the food came out perfectly timed and exactly as ordered, it was just delicious. I can not recommend any improvements for this great restaurant. Try the mushrooms, the prime rib, or the jambalya they will not disappoint. It is easy to find using Google Maps with plenty of free street parking.

The Salmon BLT was out of this world! The bacon was thick and cooked to perfection. Loaded potato soup was hearty enough to eat as a meal and the cheese bread added a nice touch. The fried mushrooms are the best around. This was the first time we’d ever visited Colby’s and it’s definite worth the drive to Owensboro. Megan is a fantastic server and very helpful.

Such a great spot! We had lunch here and it exceeded our expectations. Our server Katie was awesome and took good care of us. The interior was very nice. The restaurant was very clean and had great natural lighting. Our food was very good. I had the black bean burger and my boyfriend had the smash burgers. Prices were great and good portions also.
