Cornish Pasty Co. is a great spot if you’re looking for a classic, hearty meal with some history behind it. The food is inspired by traditional Cornish pasties, which were originally made as a filling meal for miners. Everything is flavorful, well baked, and super tasty. It’s the kind of place where the meal feels authentic and rooted in tradition rather than just trendy food. The atmosphere is relaxed, the portions are solid, and it’s a great place to sit down and enjoy a classic dish that has real history behind it. I definitely recommend this place if you appreciate good food with a story behind it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely love Cornish Pasty Co. in Mesa. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit — such a cool, old-world vibe with a unique, cozy theme that makes the whole experience feel special. The food is next level. I ordered one of their vegan options and it was incredible — packed with flavor, perfectly baked, and seriously satisfying. It’s not just “good for vegan,” it’s just straight up good food. Service has been great and the overall experience makes you want to come back. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. Highly recommend.

3.5 stars***I had the Pilgrim, which is like leftover thanksgiving dinner in a Pasty. It would have been great had it not been for the turkey inside which was a little gamey. Served with their signature gravy - delicious but lumpy. That texture may gross some people out. Also served with cranberry sauce. It actually tasted like leftovers. So, good but not great. I also ordered the apple pie pasty. I ordered it cold and brought it home. I cooked it in a buttered cast iron pan, in the oven, per their instructions, and served it with vanilla ice cream on top. It was very good, but again not great. The apple pie from Costco is better and so is the Blondie at Applebee's for comparison. The service we happened to receive that day was atrocious. She never set the table. Appetizer got cold waiting on utensils. Never got refills. I thought maybe they were short staffed but even when the lunch crowd died down things never sped up.
