Took my family, for brunch around 10 am, Saturday. The atmosphere is beautiful. Service, Scott did the best he could... the restaurant is extremely understaffed. Ordered 3 coffees, the 1st round of coffee was so light you could see the bottom of the cup through the liquid... it was similar to weak tea. The 2nd and 3rd was better only after I mentioned what happened. I never did get my 4th cup the order was forgotten (sounds like lots of coffee but they are served based by tea cup portions so about 6 Oz per cup.) Requested food be brought out when ready, none of that waiting for all the food to be made then brought out at once, so we can have the food hot. That request was ignored. Ordered Char grilled oysters the flavor was great but they were served room temperature because my request was ignored since they brought all the food at the same time. Ordered the taste of New Orleans... same thing gumbo and jambalaya both room temperature because all the good was brought out at the same time. My boys got a shrimp po boy and the beaucoup breakfest. The beaucoup is like the Mc.Donalds big breakfest just a bit fancy. I ordered the Audobon omelet after my family received their meal. 20 mins later I still didnt have my entrée. Scott let me know it was placed, I waited another 10 mins... instead we ordered dessert 2 key lime pies and a breadpudding at this point I canceled my Audobon order. It was 8-10 mins later that Scott informed us that the Keylime was still frozen and needed to be defrosted. We took the bread pudding to go. I prefer to order food especially dessert at the restaurant for the experience of dining out. Canceled the keylimes. Disappointed because I heard such great things about this place. Won't be going back. I was ready to spend over $200 for a family breakfast but because the establishment was understaffed and didnt have menu items ready spent $137. I made sure Scott was tipped with cash he did a great job under the poor circumstances. The drink menu was nice, we had a Mint Julep and French 75. Side note: the breadpudding dessert portion is tiny for size comparison see photo the cups are about 2 oz.

Excellent restaurant, seafood gumbo was delicious, cajun egg rolls on point. We had multiple plates ,oyster po-boy and shrimp pasta are delicious. Excellent service, prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size.

I can’t say enough about this amazing gem of a restaurant! We had multiple appetizers and we loved every single one of them. The Garlic Butter Shrimp Roll was amazing, the blackened gator was so tender and flavored so well. We had the Crab Augratin with the flakiest buttery toast I’ve ever experienced in my life. AND the 2+2+2 Oysters = 6 delightfully divine oysters and this gal doesn’t even like oysters! 10/10 we will be back!
