Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

A wonderful restaurant with outstanding food. My wife and I had the mixed grill (lamb, chicken, and kofta) and the spices and charcoal were delicious. A small wait as they make the food fresh, utterly worth every moment. The atmosphere is pleasant and calming. We will return, as there are many more dishes we must try!

You can get Mediterranean food in many places these days. Falafel is good everywhere, right? WRONG! Falafel is good almost everywhere. Then you find a place where falafel is excellent - and you realize you never really knew falafel at all. Cous Cous showed me today that I did not know falafel. And the same can be said of every dish I consumed there today. Authentic, fresh, beautiful. In 3 countries and 15-or-so states have I tried Mediterranean food, and each establishment has been found wanting now that it is pitted against Cous Cous Cafe. Divine.

My niece and I had the lamb cutlets and lamb gyro. I have never liked lamb but thanks to this place, I have been converted. The seasoning, texture, and freshness really impressed us. We also had the mint tea which was so lovely that I bought some dried tea too so I can make some at home. We took home some yummy sweet treats as well that did not disappoint. We were not rushed and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, clean, and cultural. We will certainly be returning. 🫶👌🤌
