Cowboy Cafe! Was the best meal of the weekend. We didn’t wait long as the seating at the bar is first come first serve. For a table there was a 15-30 minute wait at the time we visited. So we sat at the bar counter. The staff were very busy but still attentive and also had a steady flow of people. The food is worth the wait. My buddy ordered the Washtub Burrito smothered in The Roswell Sauce (Green Chile). He ate the whole thing! I ordered the Hen House Steak & Eggs. Soo good. We left breakfast feeling great and very satisfied. Would highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

It’s an old diner with limited seating; perhaps 35-40 people. It was full when we arrived but got seats pretty fast. The waitresses are super friendly and helpful. They have a variety of burgers, country platters like pork tenderloin and breakfast options served all day. My breakfast was just okay tasting. Biscuits dry and butter didn’t help. The whole place is old and needs updating, floors worn out, no place for wheelchairs. One toilet. Cramped dining area. It appears to be a popular place for locals.
