Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

"That's the menu?" is what I said when I realized what the newspapers laying on the table were. It's an example of the fun quirkiness of this restaurant. When you first walk in, you're looking at funny and interesting quotes and art covering the walls. Branding is huge here with their cowboy surfer mascot all over the mugs, table tops, and chairs. It all feels reminiscently Disney-esque. I was pleased to find a vegetarian/vegan section in their newspaper/menu where you could order both breakfast and lunch. The portions are generous and we ended up taking home leftovers, which even eaten hours later was still tasty. And as busy as they were, all the waitresses had stopped by our table to check in on us. It's no wonder this place is so popular. We lucked out and only had to wait a few minutes before being seated, not realizing it's recommended to call ahead. Still, we came at around 10:30am on a Saturday as walk ins and it still worked out fine.
