Food was just OK this time. We both had spicy grilled catfish and didn't finish it. A couple of the filet's were quite tough consistency, chewy. Vegetables were delicious, service was good, restaurant was pretty cold we actually moved our table seating closer to fireplace. I think the air conditioner was on and the weather outside was below freezing but I guess it must be warmer inside, nevertheless, fireplace was cozy

Beware! Floor is extremely slippery. Heard multiple people complain and nearly fall down. Food was okay, nothing extraordinary, but nothing terrible either.

Update: Within a day of my posting the negative review, I received a reply from CB Corporate with an apology and a gift card. Thank you for the quick response and the card. I’ll return. Disappointing visit…Took my 98-year old WWII veteran friend out for lunch. The atmosphere at Cracker Barrel is always nicely “Americana” with its memorabilia of our country a hundred years ago. Menu offerings are plentiful and service this visit was acceptable. My guest ordered the meatloaf with two sides and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my choice of salad topped with grilled chicken was terrible. The chicken was rubbery and I wound up leaving most of it in the plate. Server Angelica apologized when I told her at the end of the meal and brought a desert to accommodate. This was my first bad meal in my many years as a Cracker Barrels customer. In the future, I’ll not order chicken in any form!
