Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Great service, decent price and the food is absolutely amazing. Also, this location understood the difference between scrambled and folded eggs which I fully appreciate. The Fresh Berry French Toast Bake was better and more filling than expected and an upbeat waitress started my morning off right with efficient table service. The atmosphere was excellent and the host had a great sense of humor.

In all fairness, my pancakes and eggs were a 5+ star meal. My daughters fried chicken and dumplings was a 1 star. Let’s start with what was good - Cracker Barrel has the best pancakes on the planet. They probably come in at 1,000 calories a cake because of cooking them in a ton of butter to crisp the edges, but I don’t care. They always taste great and have a solid crunchy edge that I love. Add to it, the eggs, hash browns, and ham was perfect. The bad - that fried chicken was old, the dumplings were dry, and the fries were cold. I’m pretty sure the fried chicken was precooked and probably pulled out of the cooler and reheated for a few minutes in the oil. The crust was hard and the chicken was dry. And the dumplings were like cement. You could have built a block wall with them. However, the service was good and I love the old atmosphere. Stick with breakfast and you won’t be disappointed.

Food is always on point, every location I've ever been to. They really handled pivoting from that idiot bowing to woke culture well. Response made me love them even more, and their food is second to none.
