I was at Cracker Barrel today 2/28 at 2pm with my guy and we were enjoying my first time at a Cracker Barrel when the waitress informed us someone had paid our check. We were shocked, moved, and both of us cried a little because of the kindness bestowed on us by a complete stranger. I was already nostalgic with the decor and the good food tasting like Mama used to make... Then I had this random act of kindness ... Whoever did this, thank you. You have no idea how much it meant to us. Not because of the money but the kindness, the love behind it. The waitress showed us a note left for us too and I am sharing it below along with our meals. Thank you again stranger, you made my first experience at Cracker Barrel even more memorable.

Best experience at a cracker barrel in 9 months. Braylee was a super hostess. The decor seemed old style Cracker Barrel. Food was hot and delicious. Service was outstanding. Hot corn muffins were out in less than 1 , minute. Good was served before the second corn muffin was eaten. Meatloaf was hot and tasty as was the rice and grits.

This is the second time I have placed a pickup order from this location. The first time my order wasn't ready and I waited over 30 minutes past the pickup time. This time my order was ready but the hostess was rude, and said she didn't have an order for that name before she even checked to see if it was ready, or if I really had an order. Now this was the first time that my food wasn't good. The post was disgusting and I get it everytime I'm there. I ordered the fried chicken for my husband. It looked as if it had been cooked hours prior. The mashed potatoes were the consistency of play dough. I didn't even worry about calling to fix it because I live about 20 minutes away. It was easier to go to the dollar store and buy a TV dinner. I was very disappointed in this purchase/visit.
