Cracker Barrel

It really makes me sad when an otherwise good experience is ruined by one person. Unfortunately, that was the case here with the cashier. Instead of taking accountability for a mistake, the cashier chose to blame the manager after he walked away to fix the issue, even saying he didn’t know what he was doing, which was disappointing and unprofessional. I say instead of being on your phone and not noticing costumers, and I mean CUSTOMERS, line up, maybe you should learn how to do your job better. On a positive note, the manager was kind, welcoming, and handled the situation with grace. Our server was also wonderful, and the food was delicious as it always is at Cracker Barrel. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, because the rest of the team delivered the warm, dependable experience people expect.

It is my understanding that when a customer goes to a restaurant, they are able to order what they prefer and request reasonable modifications to their meal. As a paying customer spending my own money, I believe that expectation is fair. During my recent interaction with your establishment, I made a specific request regarding my order. I was placed on hold for approximately ten minutes without explanation. I was told that the manager could not do exactly what I asked, with no effort to provide a courteous explanation or alternative solution. I hope this matter is addressed so that future customers are treated with professionalism and courtesy they deserve.

The moment we entered Cracker Barrel a hostess welcomed my brother and me in. The hostess and waitress was respectful and courteous. The waitress wasn’t impatient and gave us plenty of time to choose from the menu. She answered our questions with a sincere response. And was very helpful. The food was hot and delicious. Checkout was a breeze. The cashier was super nice too. Wonderful experience all the way around.
