Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

In my humble opinion, this is singlehandedly the best dining establishment in all of the UCSD campus. It’s open from 7 AM to I believe 7 PM and i’ve been guilty of having it from both breakfast and dinner. It’s tucked in the corner of Franklin Antonio Hall and has actually a very spacious layout. Tables do tend to fill up inside when there is a rush, but the outside seating is also plentiful and the overlooking view is absolutely stunning. Every single time I go the experience is never bad and that’s hard to do especially with an on campus business. They have rotating breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus and their drinks department consists of a coffee bar and boba bar. Now in terms of the food, this place really consistent shocks me by how high quality and tasty the food ends up being. From Sandwiches, to burgers, to pasta, and even protein bowls (I’ve seen they’re really popular amongst other clientele), this place has a lot to offer and what I love is that it’s almost a guarantee that it’s going to be good. They also really amazed me with the breakfast platters and bagels. I’ve only personally tried the bacon egg and cheese bagel and with some siracha it was one of the best morning meals I get to have on campus before 8 AM. And the coffee is honestly better than starbucks. I do the iced Caramel Brûlée Latte religiously, but my friend absolutely loves the iced Tres Leches Latte. This place is also locally ran by the most hardworking employees I’ve ever seen and it’s a blessing to know that there’s always a enclave of Mexican style cooking right here on campus when we’re so far from home. With absolute certainty, this place is FSFSS DAYGOEATSCERTIFIED✅✅📋

First review in San Diego! Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea was genuinely the worst boba I've ever had. The boba had a weird spongy texture and wasn't sweet. The milk tea was okay, strong tea flavor and still decently sweet with "lite sweet." Haven't tried the rest of the menu but absolutely do not get the boba milk tea... You can order online, with the cashier, or on the kiosk. The drink was also very small for $7 with tip 🫩 My phone was having reception issues in the cafe, but plenty of people were studying there + it had a big patio outside too.

Affordable. Lots of options. Nice location. Not much more else to ask for. Great view too. The cheese quesadilla is fabulous. Always perfect. The garlic parmesean fries are a ton of food (homemade garlic aioli, McDonald's type fries and a lot of parm cheese). The cheese burger is actually amazing (the bun is great). And all of it is under $10. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu are all different.
