I took my girlfriend to Crave for Valentine’s Day, and overall it was a good experience, though not without a few distractions. The food itself was solid—well prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients—but for what you get, it does feel overpriced. What stood out most to me, surprisingly, was the atmosphere. I’m not usually someone who notices décor much, but this visit was different. The restaurant still had Christmas decorations up well past the holidays, and on Valentine’s Day no less. It wasn’t offensive, just odd—and noticeable enough that it became a topic of conversation at the table. It slightly took away from what should have been a more romantic, intentional vibe for the occasion. Service was fine and the setting is generally comfortable, but at this price point, details matter. Seasonal décor lingering into mid-February felt like a miss. Overall, Crave delivers good food, but between the cost and the small but distracting details, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations that come with a special-occasion dinner.

Crave has truly lost its charm. Perhaps it was just the day I went, but the services were subpar. They didn’t even bother refilling our drinks. To make matters worse, the food sat out for a while until one of the runners brought it to the server area and pretended it had just been served.

The renovated space feels like a resort-style retreat—beautiful, calm, and incredibly relaxing. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. We were also blessed with an amazing server, Sophie—attentive, quick, and always greeting us with a genuine smile. After reading some mixed reviews, I feel especially grateful we had such a great experience, particularly since we hadn’t been back in over a year. The food was excellent. I had the Thai steak, and my wife ordered the chicken rice bowl—both were delicious and well-prepared. They also have a full bar with a solid wine selection and plenty of great non-alcoholic options. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
