Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

A Must‑Visit Dining Experience Flambé Al Cart delivers the kind of dining experience that stays with you long after the last bite. From the moment I walked in, the service was nothing short of superb—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the evening special. Every staff member moved with confidence and charm that made the whole experience feel effortless. The food is absolutely delicious. Each dish arrived beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with clear culinary skill. The tableside flambé added a touch of theater that elevated the meal into something memorable and fun. You can tell the chefs here care deeply about what they create. If you’re looking for a restaurant that blends exceptional service with unforgettable dishes, Flambé Al Cart is the place. I’d give it six stars if I could. Seriously unreal - very surprised more people don’t know about this spot yet! Everything was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the paneer tikka masala. The corn fritters and aloo ghobi as well were delicious. My family really enjoyed the butter chicken / tikka masala. The truffle cheese kulcha (naan) is unique and incredible Atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting and they have calming instrumental music. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. This was my second time back and it was even better than I remember. Cannot recommend it enough. Im so excited to go back for tea or lunch!!! This easily competes with some of the best restaurants downtown Chicago.

We had dinner here a week ago on Saturday night, although we had made a reservation there were plenty of open tables. We love Indian food, but have struggled to find a great restaurant in the Chicago suburbs so I was excited to try this one. The atmosphere is nice and they have a very small bar in the front section. I had the smoked chai old fashioned and that was excellent. Our server was very quiet and didn't make any suggestions, or recommendations on the menu. He only asked us if we were ready to order and pay the bill. At the end of the meal when we paid the bill, we said thank you and he said nothing in return, considering this is a new restaurant having a server that offers suggestions would be helpful. All of our food looked really good, the presentation was nice, but it was all lacking in flavor. We eat at a lot of Indian restaurants when traveling and we always love all the unique spices and heat. We tried the cauliflower Pakora (my favorite of the night), the fig and Paneer flatbread (underwhelming), the Malai chicken in puff pastry (pretty, but little flavor), the Kachumber salad, and the Masala croquettes. It was a nice meal, but nothing memorable, especially for the price and the underwhelming service.
