I was fortunate enough to take a trip out to Monterey Bay. During my trip this restaurant was recommended to me. I didn't know much about it except that I was told it was good! I ordered the country fried steak and it was okay. It wasn't something that amazed me. However, my family friend let me try some of her plate. Which was the Philipino Breakfast plate. NOW THAT WAS AMAZING. The garlic and onion flavor was perfectly balanced. The pork was tender. The fried rice was delicious and had a nice blend with the eggs on top. The portion was huge as well. I had a coffee to drink and that was nice and strong, which is how I like it! Will definitely return if possible!

If you enjoy a good home cooked meal and a warm greeting atmosphere, this your spot. The food is good and made with love. I got an omelet that was made with '5 eggs!' I have never heard that, especially since it still came with a breakfast side and a bread. One of my favorites are their biscuits that came with a side or honey and gravy. It was either way and didn't last on the plate for long. The star of the show was Geena, one of the owners. She stood by the food which sold me. Wonderful!

You will find delicious home style food in this mom & pop breakfast joint. Cool pictures of the owner's grandfather and his war medals, as well as a humongous collage of snapshots of past customers spanning a side wall. This is where the locals eat breakfast. Huge portions, reasonably priced, and fast service. The place is nothing fancy, wedged in the middle of a strip mall, with just a banner saying "DINER" as signage. It's easy to miss, but don't. The breakfast will stick to your ribs and keep you satisfied all day. What more could you ask for?
