Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Have talked about going here since about 2021 but then they closed and the Shakopee House experiment took place which also closed and now it’s back to Dangerfields. We went last night and were pleasantly surprised by the food quality, atmosphere, and price point. We were sat in a half circle booth overlooking the pond in back and there was a live piano player who would also mix in some vocals here and there for certain songs. We loved the old school atmosphere and vibe. I had to order the prime rib and popovers as that dish checks off a nostalgic box in my life growing up near a golf course/country club that served the same thing… it was all excellent and my wife had a Mediterranean kabob bowl which was also very tasty! We are on break from liquor at the moment but looking forward to coming back and having one of their cocktails with dinner. Spoke to the owner on the way out and he was very pleasant and thankful for our patronage; we will definitely be back to support and next time planning to bring some family/friends.

The buffet brunch they have on Sundays is amazing Very good quality The food tasted great and everything was Freshly made Something for everyone Wish I would’ve taken a picture of all the choices I honestly think best place in the Twin Cities for brunch and price If you can get the window view, very nice I plan on returning with my family

Very relaxed, laid-back place to go. The atmosphere is reminisce of a previous era of upscale dining. The patio was definitely one of the best in the area. The deck is completely screened in overlooking the river, not the parking lot. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The only downside was that I only saw my server once after my meal was delivered. I ordered a glass of wine from another server that I never got. I needed to use the restroom and had to leave the table before getting boxes for my leftovers. When I returned, all of my food had been cleared from the table. The food, however, was very good. The menu has a large variety of options in price and items. Overall, I would highly recommend checking it out.
