Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I loved eating at darna. The food was delicious. For the appetizer, I had lentil soup. It is better than the one I make. I ordered the chicken biryani and it was the right amount of spicy. This is the first time that I tried Turkish coffee and I loved it. I also had the pistachio ice cream for dessert and it was amazing.

Relaxed, casual, atmosphere, with Dine-In table service. Friendly, helpful, attentive, service with a smile. Our food was fresh, hot, platted beautifuly, & delicious ! Great prices & ample amounts of food. We also had the Sampler Platter, but ate almost all of it before we realized we should have taken a photo of that too. The tea service was delicate, beautiful, special ! We WILL be back !!!

Decent food and certainly a fine introduction to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine if you've never had it before. However the shawarma was far from the size and quality that I've come to expect from other restaurants and I'm not sure that the meat is even cooked on the traditional vertical spit as it should be.
