I’m really glad Dave’s Hot Chicken finally opened closer to home. What used to be a drive across town is now right around the corner, and the timing couldn’t be better, I was definitely dreading another hike across town for my hot chicken flavorrr! The chicken is just as incredible as always: crispy, spicy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Surprise, AZ is definitely in for a real surprise with this place. I do have two small complaints, though. First, the little chicken bites were really little… like “blink and they’re gone” little. More like crumbs size today, than bite size bits.. I’ll give them grace today. They were still very tasty, but I wouldn’t mind if they were just a bit bigger. Second, now that the location is closer, my problem isn’t the distance anymore, it’s the lines. Clearly, may others on this side of town is now feeling the fun, and loving the taste too…., because the line is always long. Looks like I’ll have to adapt and start using the app to order ahead. Honestly, that’s a pretty good problem to have when the food is good!!

We went opening day & they did amazing for having a full house & a full drive thru! Food was great, large portion of chicken so worth the price & I love the spicy levels. I could eat Dave's everyday and I don't even really like chicken.. It's just very fresh & always cooked well. We're thrilled they opened one closer to us. Again great job on an amazing opening day🎉

Love Dave's Hot Chicken as far as the Chicken goes but last 3 visits all at different locations have had minor issues. The common one is the bottom bun is ice cold, 3 times 3 different locations including this one. As expected the Chicken itself was amazing. Only other issue is this place is busy so very loud, plus they're playing music so there is no way to hear them calling your number since they don't use intercom. Had to get up and check for my order. Will definitely be back but can't give 5 stars with these issues.
