Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Deep Cuts in Medford offers up nostalgia on a platter to those who remember the days of flipping through vinyl records and playing games at arcades. The sound of music and pinball machines fills the air when you walk into the place. They have an on-site brewery in the basement so the beer is brought to you fresh and cold. Creative cocktails are available too. There’s a great selection of sandwiches here along with things like wings, chips & dip, and even salad. I went with the delicious Deep Cuts Cuban and tried a couple different brews at the bar. They also have a nice space for music, with a stage and a really good sound system for live performances. Get in here and take a step back in time. Very much recommended.

Deep Cuts Review – A Radical Flashback to the ‘70s & ‘80s! The Queen and I rolled into Deep Cuts last night, and let me tell you—this place is a time warp straight to the glory days of tube TVs, killer pinball action, and cassette tapes! From the moment we walked in, it was like stepping onto the set of a vintage arcade flick, complete with mirrored ceilings, glowing neon, and the sweet, sweet sound of silver balls ricocheting through machines. The pinball arcade was an absolute blast from the past—rows of classic machines lined the walls, including one old-school beauty with an analog scoreboard (none of that digital nonsense here!). The whole vibe was electric, with the click-clack of flippers and the hum of CRT screens setting the mood. Just outside the arcade, we spotted a pristine vintage pinball-style machine that looked like it had been preserved in a 1978 time capsule. When we hit the bar area, the retro love kept coming. Bar-height tables, moody lighting, and a killer selection of drinks displayed on two giant TVs behind the counter. The bartenders were cool cats, serving up drinks with a smile and making us feel right at home. And dig this—they’ve got QR code menus, so you can order like it’s the future while vibing in the past. Genius. Whether you’re a pinball wizard, a vinyl junkie, or just looking for a far-out spot to unwind, Deep Cuts delivers the goods. The Queen and I are already planning our next date night here—because why settle for boring when you can party like it’s 1979? Final Verdict: If you dig good drinks, killer arcade action, and a heavy dose of nostalgia, Deep Cuts is your spot. 10/10 we would flip again!

Came for a show tonight. Really fun space, and great drinks if you're dry! The beet-ade was great :-) Posting this review to praise the bar staff though-- I left the band space and sat on the floor near the bathrooms during the show to tend to a knee condition, and in less than five minutes someone from behind the bar came to check on me. He asked if I felt well, if I needed any help, and then found me a seat when I explained I was okay. It was loud and crowded, so for someone to notice something that could be concerning and to act immediately really goes to show how proactive and aware the staff are, and how seriously they take safety. I didn't get the name of whoever checked on me, but thank you very much! I hope I can return for another show someday. P.S. The pinball area is wicked!
