Stopped in to try Delh Bistro. An older gentleman greeted me at the door and seemed to be the only person working there. I sat at the bar and was given a not-so-clean menu. Resturants should realize how much a non-grimey menu represents them. I was politly informed that they were take-out only; didn't have the entire menu selection available; they mainly had vegan dishes; and the meat dish was primarily the Chicken Marsala. So I went with that and rice and samosas....all the popular choices! Food took quite a while about 20min...which is a good sign in my book for freshly cooked. It smelled great on the ride home and I popped a samosa in my mouth to try one out. I'm sorry I did that cuz I had to stop myself from finishing them all and ruining my dinner. The samosas are bit-sized and have a nice unexpected kick to them. SPiCy! I'm not a fan of spicey, but this was pleasantly tolerable because it didn't overpower and complimented the flavor. In fact, that can be said about the whole meal. A well-flavored, homestyle meal with a complimentary kick! The food was still piping hot when I arrived home..another sign of being freshly made and not microwaved! I liked the watery-ness of the Marsala and mixed it with the rice. Again, good flavor, decent kick, and felt like a home-cooked meal! I also got the garlic Naan bread and enjoyed that too. I didn't taste much garlic tho. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there and will stop in again. Don't judge this book by its cover. There's good food inside!

Being a lover of Indian cuisine I become extremely excited to try new locations. This location made me nervous at first. Upon arrival the exterior looked a bit unkempt and I noticed a few for rent posters in the windows. I instantly became weary but I'm open minded and we ordered our food. The elderly gentleman server was very friendly and we had our food within 15 mins including the appetizers. We ordered garlic naan, cocktail samosas, vegetable malaise kofta, sag, gulab jamin, and sweet lassi. The appearance was amazing, the food was at an excellent temperature and the taste was fabulous. The food arrived in a expected time frame and tasted amazing. The portions were just right the the cost was a great match. I will surely be revisiting this location very soon. Thank you for the excellent service and quality.

If you are looking for authentic Indian food made with lots of love, and a great ambience, this is THE PLACE for you!! It is a family owned business and everyone is very nice and friendly. Even though we moved to Madison a while back, we love coming here because of their love and hospitality. We have tried most of their dishes and they are all so good!! Chicken tikka masala, Indian Nachos, Egg burji, Malai Kofta, Dal.. you name it!! Here’s a picture of Malai Kofta with vegetable pulao (I couldn’t resist and ate half of it before taking a picture lol).
