Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Disappointment with a view! Three of us stopped in last Thursday night, not very busy, half the seating outside was empty, entire inside empty as it was a nice day. Top dollar price for freezer food. Raging river rolls tasted like they were straight out of the freezer and into the microwave. Maybe a handful of calamari for $18. Fried fish also tasted like it was pre-breaded and out of a freezer. Drinks were great. A few Moscow mules. Service was terrible. Took 15+minutes for our drinks every time. Our waitress was often no where to be found. Had asked for ketchup from three different waitresses, none of them ever brought me back. Eventually I asked a hostess and she came through for us. This location is cursed. Great view and atmosphere with trash food and service.

My family and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time while in the area. It was a beaut day so I wanted to dine somewhere that had outdoor seating and this place looked perfect. Upon arriving we put our name down on the list and were told the wait was 15 minutes. We waited about a half hour. After being seated there was much confusion on who would be waiting on us. We also requested a kids menu and were told they were out of them. They were also out of some of the items on the menu. We ordered got our food. My husband and I got burgers. They were on the dry side. The Asian salad was very saucy. The Curly fries were good. My son got 10 chicken wings that came with 1 blue cheese. When he asked for a second one we found out when we received our bill we were charged an additional $1.50 for it, also $1.50 for a small cup of bbq sauce for the dry burger. We were also very surprised by the price of the kids menu, especially the box mac and cheese with fries for $12.50. We did enjoy the outdoor scenery and games. The restaurant has a lot of potential and I wanted to love it but unfortunately they dropped the ball in many areas. Very disappointing.

If you’ve been to La Parilla (the restaurant previously occupying this space), pretty much all the decor is the same, however the food is better now, if much more low key. We went last Friday and there was live music playing on the riverside patio so the place was packed. Definitely due to that, the service was good but they could have used a few extra hands to serve food or just hang around the patrons because there were a ton of us! Honestly the crowd seemed to be the same as the previous times I’ve visited, a mixture of locals and tourists enjoying the gorgeous riverfront sunset and more than a couple of drinks. We were seated promptly and I had a virgin Vodcolada (frozen cherry pina colada but non alcoholic because I wanted to skip the headache) and unsweetened tea (there was no sweet tea option, maybe later 🤞🏻). For an appetizer, calamari, and we ordered our food at the same time: a galley burger for me and grouper tacos for my partner. I think we were both surprised at the smaller portion sizes but by the end of the meal we were full. My Galley burger was definitely the better of the two meals, the grouper was a tad dry, even if they were going for crispy. The galley burger was just about perfect, even though I had to use every inch of my cloth napkin to keep my fingers from being greasy. Even so, we tried a s’mores cookie for dessert which was very good. As far as room for improvement goes, I would like to see more entrees, as all the “entrees” were salads or handhelds unless you ordered an appetizer as an entree (which there were plenty to choose from). I don’t mind the smaller portion sizes portion sizes, but I did feel like the Press Box and G.S. Steamer’s menus had a wild night and that’s how this little menu came about. We’ll definitely be back to try more. 🙂
