I live a few blocks away, and I drive by this nondescript building and entrance every day. So imagine my surprise when a friend of mine (who works as a personal chef) recommended this place, saying it was, in his opinion, the best restaurant in northwest Philly. How had I not heard of it? Cut to me and my girlfriend, who went for our anniversary dinner. The whole experience was magical. The host greeted us warmly and checked our coats. The restaurant itself is stunning. The bar is beautiful and lit like you are in a movie. This is a very stylish place. The attention to detail is clear. Everything feels nice, the tables are not too small, and they don't pack them too close together. Our server, Doug, was very warm and made a bunch of great recommendations. He checked in on us just enough to feel like we never needed anything, but not so much that it felt overbearing. The food was amazing. We had oysters, the beets, the lamb ribs, sunchoke terrine, squid ink spaghetti, rad noodles, and Atlantic salmon. Then, for dessert, we had the carrot cake. My favorite things were, in this order, the ribs, the rad noodles, and the carrot cake. The sunchoke terrine was a flavor-packed bite as well. I recommend only ordering the rad noodles if you like spice, they did not hold back, and we loved it! Having said that though everything we had was delicious. we also ordered a few cocktails. the cocktails matched the quality of the food. I loved the Oaxaca Flocka. And we apricated the wine pairing recommendation for our meal. I will be going back. I am excited to try everything on the menu. This is definitely the best restaurant in Mt. Airy, and in all of northwest Philly. And in my opinion, this place ranks up there with the best restaurants you can find in all of Philadelphia.

Great food and excellent service! Do not miss the lamb ribs if I came again I would order multiple, super crispy on the outside yet extremely tender on the inside. Carrot cake is also amazing, and the rad noodles were delicious. Great experience and the restaurant is small and not too loud so easy to have a good conversation over dinner.

Holy smokes, you better get here and COME HUNGRY! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES! Rose greeted us so warmly and sat is down in a beautifully set dining room and served us for the evening. The service alone was top notch, from recommendations and pairings to her genuine joy in making connections with the people that come in. The food though. WHAT. I cannot begin to explain the complexities of the flavorings, they danced on my tongue so delightfully and perfectly. We completely demolished everything, from the sweet potato tostones and lamb ribs to the mains and side of their chorizo fried rice, his lasagna, and my ridiculously lovely duck (I'm gluten free, so sadly just smelled the richness of his plate and envied). Dessert was carrot cake and a baked pear, which was just ✨️ They also have the most interesting NA Drinks, best NA espresso martini I've had in the whole city. The people that came by with food, to check in and say hi, and everyone that had a hand in our beautiful night, thank you so much. 12/10, will be back and bringing my loved ones!
