Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My husband and I were walking downtown today and decided to stop here for lunch. I got two street tacos and he got, i think it was called "Ole Nasty Nachos". I'll have to look at the menu again to make sure it is the correct name of it. Anyway, his was delicious. The meat was juicy, piping hot, very flavorful. Mine on the other hand was just ok. The beef one almost tasted like day or two old meat that had been reheated up in a microwave. (I did see a microwave in the kitchen from where i was sitting) And the Papas(potato) taco had a very instant mashed potato vibe. I will give it one or two more tries before I make a final decision on what I think of it.

Excellent option for great Mexican cuisine on the downtown strip in Owensboro. Their fajitas were delicious. The chips and salsa are great too. The service was outstanding. This place isxeasy to find utilizing Google Maps. The restaurant is kept very clean. There is plenty of free street parking.

I've dined here a couple times and never been disappointed. I'm happy to report that they have a fairly extensive vegan selection, but I will admit that I question if their sour cream is vegan (I didn't bother to ask, I just didn't eat it). There were four people in my party this last time and we had everything from chicken nuggets to chicken chimichangas to vegan fajitas. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty. Our server, an older gentleman, was on top of everything and always checking in on us. It's nice to see that there's a good place in downtown to get vegan food now. Kernel approved: 5/🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗
