Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Had an amazing experience at Driftwood! I brought in my family from Philadelphia. They loved every bite, and said it was the highlight of their trip. We had the sturgeon carpaccio, delicata squash, mussel cassolette, bolero carrots, the rockfish, the pork chop, and ALL the desserts! Every morsel was spectacular! Highly recommend! Nick Kangas is my fave(the other Nicks are cool too)

This business has recently been doxxed by anonymous non-patrons for its anti-discrimination and anti-ICE policy. I was here with friends on Friday celebrating a birthday and the food and service were fantastic. In particular, I liked the mushroom pain perdu and spiced apple cider cake. This business operates on wonderful local and eco-friendly principles with a menu constantly rotating ingredients from Washington-specific farms and providers. All ingredients are high-quality without preservative. I recommend this business for anyone wanting an authentic taste of the Pacific Northwest.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Knowledgeable staff who know the names of each farmer they buy from. Beautiful an atmosphere, and for the price point it’s hard to beat. It’s a true small business and they work very hard to make every moment special. I personally like to sit at the bar and enjoy what the delightful team has to share in each season! Creative and beautiful, I always leave inspired and well-fed! Ps. Get the pork chop it will change your life —it’s worth the price point.
