Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We were so excited for DSB Provisions to open and it definitely delivered. We made Friday night reservations and had a fantastic meal from start to finish. Our server was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Even with how busy it was, our food came out quickly. We started with the focaccia and hummus, then ordered the Florida Keys rock shrimp, caramelized onion agnolotti, and the rotolo with braised beef. Every dish felt unique and thoughtfully prepared, and the rotolo was absolutely incredible and easily my favorite. The only reason I can’t give five stars comes down to two things. First, the space is very small. On a busy Friday night, tables are packed tightly together, and there’s really no room to wait inside so you’ll likely be standing outside until your table is ready. Second, the portions are on the smaller side compared to other local Italian restaurants at a similar price point. While the quality is clearly there, we did end up ordering a third pasta because we were still hungry though I’m glad we did since the rotolo ended up being the standout. Overall, it’s absolutely worth trying and we’ll definitely be back — maybe just not quite as hungry next time!

DSB Provisions in Maryville is the kind of newly opened restaurant that makes you do a double-take—in the best way. Somehow, they’ve already nailed what so many places spend months (or years) trying to figure out: flawless execution, a genuinely warm guest experience, and an atmosphere that feels intentional, comfortable, and special without trying too hard. First off: Megan was WONDERFUL. Attentive, friendly, and completely dialed in—she took the BEST care of us and made the whole night feel effortless. And the food… wow. Everything we tried felt confident and beautifully done: • Potato & leek soup — cozy, balanced, and absolutely packed with flavor. • Beet salad — fresh, vibrant, and perfectly composed. • Cacio e pepe — simple on paper, masterful in practice. • Rotolo with braised beef — rich, comforting, and the kind of dish you keep thinking about later. • Fish of the day — cooked with care and served like they really respect the ingredients. So many restaurants need time to get their sea legs under them before they can really swim—but DSB Provisions has mastered it right from the jump. Every detail felt polished, from the pacing to the ambience to the confidence coming out of the kitchen. If you’re anywhere near Maryville, go. This place is already operating like a favorite. We’ll absolutely be back—soon.

Oh my gosh! This is our new favorite restaurant! Our server was so friendly and went above and beyond. The food was beyond good. I didn’t have a bad bite. My husband and I drooled over the Focaccia! I got the roasted beat salad, butternut squash risotto, and then the Porchetta! (Now understand I did not eat all of this haha. The portion sizes are perfect but this was a 4 course meal and took leftovers home as well). My husband got the Ravioli and the chicken and is still talking about the ravioli. We also tried both desserts and Omgosh yum! The flavors pulled together with each dish were exquisite! I’m also gluten free and the menu had plenty of options to choose from and both desserts were GF! We cannot wait to go back!
