Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My Seafood Tofu soup came out quickly after I was served hot tea immediately. Everything is priced decent for the area. I was just in for a quick lunch so that is all I ordered, but when I come back I plan to try more of the menu. It was a good portion, full of seafood and yummy.

The dumplings are amazing. XLB imo on par with DTF. Rice roll amazing, well executed, and rare to find. They have amazing vegetarian dumpings too. Dan Dan noodle is great. Wan ton in chilli oil is a hit with some, miss with others. 5 spice beef over rice satisfying. Think the chow mein is okay. You go here for the most amazing dumplings, XLB, and rice rolls.

Good food! Came right when they opened on a Sunday and there was no wait, phew! By the time we finished there was a crowd forming outside the small restaurant. Hot and sour soup ($11.50) - Really good, they were able to make it vegetarian for my friend. Sticky rice roll ($5.25) - So nostalgic! Is it just me or is it hard to find a place that serves this? Five spice beef stew noodle soup ($11.00) - Beef was tender but tasted like two spice noodle soup. A bit bland for me. Shanghai dumplings ($6.95 for 5 pieces) - Not bad. Got some juice. Vegetarian dumpling ($6.95 for 5 pieces) - Decent.
