This place really is something special. The woman working the dining room was very sweet and hospitable. The environment was so beautiful, with live plants and vines along the bar and walls. The menu was very straightforward, setting expectations properly. The beet salad was incredible, and I can say that if you don't like beets it may change your mind. The Sambusas with lentils were crispy and so refreshing. I got the meat lover plate, and all of the meats were tender and spiced so addictively. The spice was wonderful! The side were also ridiculous, with the split peas being a textural delight. The bread was unlike anything I'd ever had, with a wonderful sourness that completed all the flavors on the plate. I tried all of my friends veggies on their platter, and those were incredible as well. This is a great introduction to Ethiopian food, and it certainly deserves a try!!

I REALLY enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It was very open, clean, bright in color and has a great vibe. The service was stellar. I had the lamb soup for an appetizer, and the meat platter. My wife had the fish and veggies. EVERYTHING was amazing. The lamb soup was served with freshly made bread chips and was packed with flavor. The meat platter consists of lamb, beef and chicken cooked in African spices and herbs. We tried the Samosas which were delectable. We also had the spinach and rice which was a 10 out of 10. We tried the sour bread?? Not sure remember the name of it but wasn't a fan of that at all. I WILL BE BACK THIS WEEKEND!!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a picture of the food before I demolished it. Everything was 10/10 amazing! I went with the lamb roast with lentils and cabbage and boy it didn’t disappoint! Service was fantastic also. 10/10 will come back again, definitely regular spot material.
