Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Huge selection to choose from some great some ok some mediocre and some avoid. Sashimi was not bad for what it was. My wife had a crab which was dry. Oysters were decent. I had a few different shrimp dishes all were good. The Takoyaki was good. General Tsos chicken was ok. Fried plantains were delicious. My wife enjoyed the beef and broccoli and lo mein. She also enjoyed the crispy crusted flounder. Fruit was fresh especially the pineapple. Some things that I thought could of been better the clam soup which they called it. My wife thought the Hot and Sour soup was too sour Fried donut wasn't good but it was 1 of 2 in the tray. Wasn't a fan of the sesame ball could have been laying around. One thing to certainly avoid is the Hershey's ice cream just read the ingredients you won't find real vanilla. Service was excellent and they kept replacing trays. This was our second time here since they opened. I think it's time to take down the Grand Opening banner. Worth checking out if you are in the area and only $20 for dinner weekdays. Great decor too.

IF YOU'RE ON A BUDGET THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO EAT FOR 20 BUCKS A PERSON IT'S THE BEST DEAL AROUND As somebody who has special needs and can understand when people have picky eaters and their family I am here having dinner with my mom on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and the place is packed there's maybe 20 tables of people and two big crack groups of people and the food is good for a normal buffet and I would definitely come back here more often I needed to get something quick to eat and there's a ton of different options from the grill bar to the sauteed items to your normal American cuisine like french fries and cheese pizza but there's also things like sushi and sashimi and fresh salads and for somebody that looks at reviews and sometimes judges them I'm glad I didn't because I'm enjoying myself and for 20 bucks a person for dinner that's a steal You have a 2-hour limit of 2 hours you can eat as much food as you want for 20 bucks like this is like the best place to go on a budget you get your soup your salad your main course your advertiser and your dessert all in one what can you say about that.

Food wasn’t the best, very disappointing. For a Saturday at 9pm pretty empty. I wouldn’t come back, would definitely go to back UMI next time
