Eight O One Raw Bar

Let me start off by saying I am a huge seafood lover and this did not disappoint! I gave everything 5 stars because the food was great. The crab dip was the best I have ever had. I will say the only thing we were disappointed with was the way the chips came out with the dip. They were a little stale and we seem to have gotten the very end of the bag. Personally I would have never served it like that to a customer. Pic below. Other than that our food was great and we will definitely be back. I do see a lot of negative comments about the little boy that was helping serve the food. Personally we think he did a fantastic job. We even gave him a small tip. People need to remember if you dine at a family run restaurant there are usually even little ones helping out. My only other suggestion would be to maybe have a less spicy option for the boil bag. I ordered the less spicy and it was still a little too much for me but the flavor was good!

After three times eating here Eight O One is an official 1st rounder in my restaurant rotation. The food has been on point every time. There’s a huge selection and if you’re not a heavy seafood person like me there are still plenty of options. Each time we’ve been here the owner made it a point to come over and check on us. Even other servers who weren’t handling our table stopped to see if we needed anything. The epitome of what you want in a local restaurant.

Awesome dinner tonight (and karaoke). Our food was very fresh, hot and excellent customer service. The owner greeted us at the door and checked on us several times. We will be back.
