Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

It takes a lot for me to try a new place that I know nothing about and this place my husband found while we drove North on 95 from DC really proves him right. Do not hesitate to make the stop. Fried Chicken Bao Bun, Ramen Broccoli, Crispy Shrimp Bowl and a Crab Ragoon Eggroll. I would 100% go back and eat the same exact thing. The cherry on top is the great service by everyone. Like, really great. Will be back.

Ekiben completely blew me away. I’d heard plenty of good things about them, but my visit today went above and beyond anything I expected. The food was incredible! Honestly, it’s some of the best I’ve had since living in New York City. The fried chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, full of rich, bold flavor. The sides and sauces were just as amazing, with that creative Asian fusion twist that makes every bite exciting. What really stood out, though, was the kindness and customer service. Everyone there was genuinely warm and welcoming, and you could tell they really care about the people they serve. I walked in expecting something simple, but I left feeling truly appreciated and grateful. It’s rare to find a place that combines this level of food and heart. Ekiben isn’t just a great local spot, they’re the kind of restaurant that reminds you why community matters. 🩷

Ekiben- I traveled to this location with my wife and what an experience! The customer service was spectacular, all the cooks and workers were absolutely amazing- helping use understand the menu and what to pick out. The food was spectacular as-well - we loved the Asian fusion - our favorite was the Tempura broccoli
